The Department of Small Scale Irrigation Development in Agarfa Agricultural Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ATVET) College was established in 2009 E.C with the establishment of the College.

Vision of Small Scale Irrigation Development of Agarfa ATVET College is to see trained manpower created who have efficient knowledge, skill, and attitude to transform the agricultural sector of the country.

The mission of the Department is to train mid-level Small Scale Irrigation Development professionals, in Small Scale Irrigation Development techniques and professions who have result-based and improved knowledge, skill, and attitude; to give clients need-based short-term training, and to establish and strengthen laboratories and practical sites that will help in giving practical training to Small Scale Irrigation Development trainees.
